1. Getting started

Open dinchat.cam and you are in as a guest; there is nothing to fill in. From there, open Who's online to pick someone, or tap Match to be connected at random. The full walkthrough is on the how Dinchat works page.

To keep Dinchat on your phone, add it to your home screen. Steps for each device are on the Dinchat app page.

2. Camera and microphone

If a call will not start, check that the browser has permission to use the camera and microphone for dinchat.cam, then reload the page. Closing other apps that use the camera often helps. If you would rather not use the camera at all, choose a voice match: random voice chat.

3. Finding people again

Follow someone from their profile or during a call. They are added to your list, and from their profile you can message them or start a video call later.

4. Free matches and coins

Rewards are claimed in the Reward Center at the top of the match screen, several times a day. A match opens with free time, and staying on past it uses coins. See coins and the Reward Center, and for what is free overall, is Dinchat free.

5. Guest sessions and accounts

A guest session stays in one browser on one device. If you clear the browser data or change phone, it does not come with you. Signing in keeps your follows and coins attached to you. Do this before clearing your browser if you have things you want to keep.

6. Problems with another person

Use Block or Report for that person, starting from their profile. The warning signs to watch for are on the is Dinchat safe page, and everyday habits are in the safety tips.

7. Your data

To get a copy of your data or have it deleted, email [email protected]. What we hold and why is in the Privacy Policy.

8. Still stuck

Write to [email protected]. The contact page lists what to include so the first reply can help.
